Homemade Glühwein

Glühwein and cloves

A warm and sweet punch, to share with your friends during winter or cold days/nights. Homemade Glühwein with honey and cloves. Your can experiment with the addition of more ingredients like ginger.

A recipe for your home or your bar, to warm up your guests.


1 bottle White Wine
1 bottle Red Wine
12 Cloves
2 sticks of Cinnamon
250 gr Honey
250 ml Fresh lemon juice
100 ml Triple Sec
100 ml Metaxa 5*
Orange peels

Tools & Method

Tools: Bar Spoon | Method: Stir | Glass: Mug, Punch | Garnish: Orange peel, cloves


We heat up all the ingredients in a pan. Careful, don’t let them boil! Stir them until they homogenize. Serve in mugs, garnish with orange peels and cloves.
